Starting a business is like launching a rocket—the first few moments require the most energy, but once you break through the atmosphere, new possibilities emerge.
That’s exactly what the 2024 journey has been for 44Risk PM, LLC. As we prepare for an even more ambitious 2025, let’s take a moment to reflect on our journey and share our vision for the future.
The Best Time to Start is Now
When I launched 44Risk PM in April of 2024, I had more determination than experience.
Armed with a passion for project management and a desire to make a difference, I dove headfirst into the unknown waters of entrepreneurship. Looking back, it’s amazing to see how far it has come.
Starting with an idea at the end of 2023, there was no other option than jumping into the mix. No idea how to manage an LLC, absolutely no experience with website building, blogging, or SEO – but I did know about progressive elaboration.
So, I started small – and have since worked up to more and have even more planned for the coming year. Below is a quick summary of where we are and where we are going.
Major Wins of 2024
The past year has been filled with milestone achievements that set the foundation for our future growth:
- Consistent Content Creation: I maintained a rigorous schedule of weekly blog posts for. The Risk Blog, providing valuable insights to our growing community of project management professionals. This commitment to consistency helped establish 44Risk PM as a reliable source of information and services to assist new and aspiring project managers.
- Multimedia Expansion: The launch of our YouTube channel opened new doors for connecting with aspiring project managers, allowing me to now share my thought and concepts through video and not just writing articles.
- PMP Exam Prep Courses: I’ve had the privilege of guiding numerous professionals through their PMP journey – focusing on building the fundamentals around PMP preparations.
Turning Challenges into Opportunities
Anything worth doing will come with its challenges. But those challenges, if used right, become our victories and lessons learned.
For me, this started week 1 after buying my domain for The Risk Blog.
Within 24 hours of purchase, I crashed the website, resulting in my hosting provider having to reset the entire website. I learned quickly to study and understand any/everything change I as making.
Now, I own multiple domains and have multiple websites. Two of which I will launch next year to accompany The Risk Blog – 44RiskPM.com, 44PMTrainingAcademy.com, and a Printify store. These sites will become critical resources for people to find courses, clothing, and events!

Then there is the challenge of working full-time as a PM, while trying to start your own company and brand. Late nights, little sleep, long days, and missed events – this year was a test of grit as I pushed through to write articles, prep courses, send emails, and everything needed to network and grow the business.
But every day I learned more, met new people, and eventually landed an opportunity that I still can’t believe I am a part of.
This has certainly been the greatest of my challenges as I invested time and money to the point of waiting to quit – but sticked with it for the students and the team that supports my work, day in and day out.

As we enter 2025, the vision for 44Risk PM extends beyond traditional project management training.
